I love this photo!  This was taken in Colleyville, TX, just west of Dallas by the Airport.  I used to play in this park when I was a child and some of my fondest memories are within these trees and the creek bed that is hidden from view!

I can't even remember where I took this shot, but I like the sharp contrast with the night sky (assuming night, at least). . .

I just want this to work . . .

I wish I knew the original artist if this vintage picture, but I don't. . . I like it though a lot.

Rainy Night 1 - by videcormeum on 20 Nov 09.

Rainy Night 1, originally uploaded by videcormeum.

I don't typically post other peoples' photos on my blog, but I simply couldn't help myself with this one! This is rain . . . I think. The texture, the contrast, the focus, and the inevitable depth create a gorgeous balance . . . mesmerizing to me, almost like it is spinning in the wind. This photo can be found on Flickr's websit under videcormeum. ;)

Feel the paceless drone
Blind my ears and plug my eyes
Because a wasteless day drowns
Cold beneath a steady stream

Of endless nights

A Light shadow seen by no one
My sadness pulls me, draws me
Like vapor dissipating in the wind
The cool air embraces the still
Of my passing emptiness.

Waiting for the fall.

I simply HAD to add this site because it's like stumbleupon on steroids and there's a lot of good info.  Enjoy!

These are the best photos I have ever seen in my life.
The haunting and sometimes wistful quality she has employed in her photography is stunning and I have never seen anything like it.  These are really remarkable!  (I swear, I have no vested interest - they just blew me away)!

This is where the adventure begins

The blog is not what I expected.  Nothing ever is.  This is (I suppose) a supplement to the flickr photo album that I've spent at least an hour trying to create (and subseqeuently failed at uploading 51 pictures - an hour wasted.  But, what's an hour when you have all the time in the world?
