Golden Lockes Say Goodbye To The Setting Sun (Hipstamatic Contest Entry)

I've been taking many, many, MANY photos in hopes of placing (preferably winning!) in this hipstamatic contest on flickr . . . I've conjured up an image in my mind of people in my life taking my photography seriously if I were part of a global expedition starting in NYC . . . but, I know chances are slim and chances are even slimmer that this would change anyone's opinion except hopefully my own. That's okay, though. I hope. Even though I try not to get my hopes up . . . :) what else can I do?

“As a leader... I have always endeavored to listen to what each and every person in a discussion had to say before venturing my own opinion. Oftentimes, my own opinion will simply represent a con-sensus of what I heard in the discussion. I always remember the axiom: a leader is like a shepherd. He stays behind the flock, letting the most nimble go out ahead, whereupon the others follow, not realizing that all along they are being directed from behind.”
