I've come to realize that you should never have transcended that high pedestal.

A illusion with depth like a rainbow flung far from its source.

I could gaze upon you in your unsung glory, deep within my own disjointed realities.

No amount of love could hold you here.

Tears were shed but you are only my ghost.

More tears are standing by.

Days went by and weeks went by and years rolled over as listless as we were, but we never meant for time to get away from us and now we are buried alive in our own regrets.

“As a leader... I have always endeavored to listen to what each and every person in a discussion had to say before venturing my own opinion. Oftentimes, my own opinion will simply represent a con-sensus of what I heard in the discussion. I always remember the axiom: a leader is like a shepherd. He stays behind the flock, letting the most nimble go out ahead, whereupon the others follow, not realizing that all along they are being directed from behind.”
