Thirst (Hipstamatic Contest Entry)
95% of the time, photography lifts my mood if I'm feeling sad or lonely. There is a LOT of time to be sad and lonely when you don't even have cell phone coverage for about 500 or 700 miles or so! I thought the death valley stretch was desolate, but there was NOTHING on this route, from Yosemite to Grand Junction, CO! I can always count on photography to lift my spirits when flying solo. :)
